Job Description
Worldwide FX UK is looking for a Texturing Artist to join our team and work closely with the Lookdev and Modeling teams.
We are currently working remotely, so feel free to apply if your time zone is not too far away from the UK / BST time.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Making 3D objects believable.
- Painting photo-real textures and relevant maps for other surface effects to be mapped onto 3D objects.
- Meeting schedules and set deadlines while maintaining the highest standards.
- Quality control of texture maps prior to publishing to ensure consistency.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Knowledge of Substance Painter, Designer, and Mari.
- Knowledge of modeling and shading.
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
- Previous experience with Linux.
- Knowledge of ZBrush.
BONUS SKILLS:
- Previous experience in a VFX environment.
- Previous education or experience in traditional arts.
- Previous experience working with scanned references, photos, or other artwork to create textures.
- Lookdev experience.
