Role Overview & Responsibilities
An opportunity has arisen for a Night Picker and Loader to join a well-established family-run business that supplies dairy, fruit & veg, and frozen products to catering businesses.
Job Purposes:
Our pickers and loaders ensure goods and products are prepared, picked and loaded on time ready for next day delivery and ensuring all products picked are of good quality before dispatched.
General Duties:
Picking, Packing, Loading and general warehouse duties.
Essentials / Desirables:
Physically fit, the role will require manual lifting and long periods on their feet.
You will be working at times in a cold climate, chillers & freezers and outside.
Knowledge of wholesale/catering would be an advantage but not essential.
Current forklift license is beneficial but again not essential.
Hours of work:
5 nights out of 6 on a rota basis (no Saturday nights) to include bank holidays.
40+ hours a week, working 6pm to 2am or until finish.
