We are currently looking to recruit a Technical Assistant to join our Technical Department at our Sutton-in-Ashfield (NG17 5LD) site. Working with the site Technical Manager to implement the business technical and BRC Food Standards to the products and processes on site.

If you have a passion for driving continuous improvement in food safety and quality; are self-motivated, confident, and produce work/ records to a high level of detail and enjoy working cross functionally with different people, you could be the person we are looking for.

This is a full time site based role working Monday to Friday although some travel will also be required within the UK to our other sites and suppliers therefore a full driving licence is essential.

Extensive on the job training will be provided for the ideal candidate.

Key skills /experience

• The candidate must have good written and oral skills.
• Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in manufacturing environment ideally Food or Pharmaceutical.
• Be willing to spend time within the factory environment working to tight deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
