Biomedical Scientist / Trainee Biomedical Scientist Cellular Pathology
A vacancy has arisen for a Biomedical Scientist / Trainee Biomedical Scientist in the Department of Cellular Pathology at the West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust. We are a small but busy department based in Bury St Edmunds, processing around 25,000 requests per year. Cellular Pathology is UKAS accredited laboratory, situated within the Pathology department and plays a vital role in the Trusts cancer diagnostics service. We offer a clinically led service with quality as its prime focus. We are a progressive laboratory, currently working towards digitalisation. Development of our staff is one our key focuses and we are proud to offers excellent training in all aspects of cellular pathology technique including specimen dissection.
