Consultant Ophthalmologist
Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are seeking to appoint a substantive Consultant Ophthalmologist with a special interest in Paediatrics and Adult ocular motility to join our team of 6 Consultants, 1 associate specialist, 3 Specialty doctors and 4 ophthalmology surgical trainees.
The department also includes a large Orthoptic team to support the post holder with 16 Orthoptists providing support to the Consultants clinical activity. There is a team of 7 Optometrists and an Imaging and nursing team who also support consultant led clinics.
Warrington is a forward-thinking department and over the last few years has made transformational change to patient pathways and extended roles of our nonmedical staff.
Introduction
This is a new substantive post to join an existing team of 6 Consultant Ophthalmologists. The post requires special interest in Paediatric Ophthalmology and Adult ocular motility.
