Casual Lifeguard

Casual and part time Lifeguards required

Visions leisure centre, Cumnock

We are looking for an exceptional team member to work within our team at visions leisure centre, you will provide a safe environment for learning to swim as well as excellent standards of customer care for swimmers and their families on every visit. Provide lifeguard duties for learn to swim lessons ranging from non-swimmers to competent swimmers

· Supporting with customer queries and resolving any issues on site when possible

· Health and safety checks on site

· Maintain the facility to a high standard

· Liaise with the swimming teachers and coordinator to advise of any issues that arise

• Be a positive role model for young people encouraging them to reach their full potential
• Must hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer service focused, demonstrates a determined and committed approach to quality of standards and cleanliness
• Perseverance and patience to encourage and put people at ease
• Observant, notices customers and anticipates their needs
• The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced PVG Check

Salary: £7.21-£10.50 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
