A fantastic opportunity has come up to join the University of the West of Scotland as a Food Service Assistant at the Ayr Campus
The team provide a service for staff, students and visitors to the campus, with a retail offering in the coffee shop and a variety of hot and cold grab and go meals available in the main dining area. In addition to this, the department caters for internal and external meetings and private dining.
Duties will include serving customers across our catering outlets, ensuring areas are well stocked and presented, some basic food preparation, maintaining standards of cleanliness and assisting with our internal hospitality provision.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate high standards of customer service. Previous experience working in a busy customer service orientated catering or retail environment is desired, and a good knowledge of hospitality and events and barista skills would be an advantage.

- Operating predominantly day time shifts across a Monday to Friday shift pattern with some additional evening and weekend work by arrangement
