Role Overview & Responsibilities

Applications are invited for an Office Support Assistant to support the Office Manager in the day-to-day running of the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences across our departmental offices within 3 buildings.
You will be responsible for providing friendly, welcoming and efficient administrative support for the department. It is essential that you are able to cope with conflicting demands of your time by prioritizing your workload accordingly. This is varied role and will suit an individual who is proactive in identifying what needs doing and can support a variety of tasks, ranging from reception duties, to office moves and helping organise staff events. Although an office-based job, it would not be desk-bound.
You will have experience of working in a reception or customer service role, with a flexible can-do attitude. A good understanding of standard administrative procedures and IT knowledge are essential, along with excellent oral and written communication skills.
You will be based in the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Gibson Building, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG as your normal place of work. You will also also provide support across our other departmental buildings (Radcliffe Primary Care (RPC) and Eagle House) as necessary. (e.g. to provide cover for the receptionist based in RPC).
The position is permanent and is offered on a full-time basis (36.5 hours per week).
