Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are excited to share our opportunity for you to join the Nuffield Department of Medicine (NDM), NDM HR Centres of Excellence.
The role of EDI Advisor is a new role with responsibility for driving change and promoting equality, diversity and inclusion across the Department.
There is a strongly supportive and collaborative approach within the HR Centres of Excellence, where you will work closely with the EDI Facilitator to help progress EDI activity and targets, including supporting the implementation of projects on the EDI and Athena Swan Action Plan and with the communication of new initiatives and information related to EDI.
You will hold a Level 3 CIPD qualification or demonstrate a commitment to undertaking this qualification on commencement in post. You will have amassed demonstrable professional experience of working on specific EDI projects either in a HR role or a previous EDI position, and excellent knowledge of EDI good practice. You are expected to have previous experience of working with HR data; an eye for detail and strong oral and written communication skills, with experience of communicating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders with diverse professional and academic backgrounds.

This position is full-time but we will consider part-time (minimum 60% FTE). It is offered initially as a fixed- term contract to 31 July 2024. Flexible and some hybrid working arrangements can be considered.
