Role Overview & Responsibilities
University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking , honest, enthusiastic, hardworking and committed individuals, with excellent communication skills, who are able to work in a team and as an individual on own initiative. You will compliment an existing security (Traffic) department based in the busy environment of the Royal Sussex County and Princess Royal Hospitals.
Hours of work will be as required but based on agreed hours and rostered duties Monday to Friday. Occasional weekend and Bank Holiday work may be required. 27 days' annual leave entitlement per annum. Pro rata for part-time staff. Applicants must have possessed a full, current, clean driving license for a minimum of 2 years (Manual).
To Support the provision of a safe & secure environment across the Trust's Facilities.
To manage traffic flows and car parking across the Trust's site's.
Provide advice & support to Trust staff, patients & visitors regarding parking arrangements.
To maximise the collection of revenue from Car Parking facilities.
All posts within the Security Department are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and you will be required to hold or pass A DBS enhanced check.
