Helston Community College - Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are looking for a Deputy DSL who will share responsibility for safeguarding and child protection across the College. They will take part in strategy discussions and inter-agency meetings, and contribute to the assessment of children. They will advise and support other members of staff on child welfare and child protection matters and liaise with relevant agencies such as the local authority and Police.
You will have:
- A Safeguarding Level 3 qualification or willingness to work toward
- Experience of working with young people
- Evidence of recent experience working within the field of safeguarding
