Foundry Operative
Role Overview & Responsibilities
Permanent position working for an established and successful world leader in precision manufacturing of parts for the fuel industry.
Duties
- Load and unloading of moulding robots
- Ability to measure liquid viscosity and weights
- Using standard operating procedures to repair components
- Complete quality documentation
- Inspection of components
- Working in a hot metal environment
Skills/ Experience / Knowledge
- Previous experience of working in a foundry
- Good time management skills
- Good verbal and listening skills
- Knowledge of foundry processes, casting, shelling process, and robotic shell manufacture
- Operating air hand grinding tools
- Shell and moulding de-waxing and preparation
- Able to use a variety of measuring equipment
Day shift Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4.15pm Friday 7.30am – 12.30pm
