General Operative Night Shift

We are in search of a Metal Operative to join our client based in Dudley. The role involves full training for the use of overhead cranes. As a metal operative, you will be required to use the overhead crane to load and unload bulk steel from trailers that enter the facility. Although a manual role there is no lifting of steel by hand. You will be required to clamp the load, relocate it to a stored position and fill out any accompanying paperwork.

The role is a direct permanent position.

There is a Christmas bonus of £1500 and a Summer Bonus scheme in place. Use of company Sauna, Gym and shower facilities available 7 days per week.

The initial joining pay is £12.50 per hour, after 3 months of service this will be reviewed on performance and raised to £13.75 per hour, and after 6 months of service, it will be raised reviewed on performance and raised to £15:00 per hour. The company offers great benefits but equally expects a high standard of work and a high calibre of staff.

The shift available is Sunday to Thursday - Sunday shift is 22:00 - 05.30 Monday to Thursday shift is 21:00 - 05.30 with 30 minutes flexible lunch. There is an immediate start for the right candidate.
