Cake Box is a company part of a large franchise which specializes in fresh cream celebration cakes. We are one of 180 plus branches in the UK and have excellent systems in place which is helping us grow even further.

Shop Assistant/ Cake Decorator

We are looking for like-minded, enthusiastic and energetic individuals to join our team in the kitchen. It is a fast pace environment but a fun place to work in. You won't need any experience in cake decorating as you will be trained and supervised from day one. Experience of working in a kitchen environment could be beneficial.

Some of your Duties & Responsibilities include;

Working with a team of cake decorators in conjunction with our front of house team members to maintain the Cake Box standards

Filling cake sponge with fresh cream and spread so they are ready to decorate

Decorating cakes and slices for display and filling Display Fridges

Decorating customer orders

End of day Kitchen cleaning with all staff, including mopping the kitchen floor

Till operation - shift Start and closing till at end of the shift

Checking Online orders on the web portal

This Role requires weekend working.

Hours are generally between 11:00 am - 19:00 pm

Pay rates:

Under 18: £5.75 / Hour

18 Yrs to 20 yrs : £7.75/Hour

21 yrs - 22yrs : £10.25/Hour

23 and over : £10.75 /Hour

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £5.75-£10.75 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Weekend availability
• Weekends only

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Milton Keynes, MK10 7NG: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
