Hours: Minimum 3 days/week Monday to Friday (with full time work available)

Pay: £125.62 per day (earning potential of over £628 per week!) *before holiday pay

ABOUT THE BUSHCRAFT COMPANY:

We provide real outdoor adventures for children aged 7-18 years old from May to October. Arriving at one of our safari-style tented camps based in the grounds of Blenheim Palace, students become fully immersed in the wilderness; sleeping under the stars, and cooking over open fires. Whether they are learning first-aid techniques, building shelters or tackling an SOS scenario, our outdoor adventures are as real as you can get.

THE ROLE:

Each camp is made up of several tribes of students, and you’ll be managing the team of Camp Instructors (“Tribe Leaders”) that look after them, as well as the day-to-day running of camp. This includes demoing our activities and supporting your instructors as they guide the students through them in smaller groups. We will teach you everything that you will need to know so that you can ensure our high standards, quality, pastoral care, safeguarding, health and safety are maintained throughout.

You’ll be responsible for managing those Tribe Leaders and the overall care of your camp, with the support of the Estate Team. (This may mean some night duty shifts as part of a rota with the wider camp team.)

Your day will start at 7am sharp when you meet your team of Tribe Leaders and prepare for the day ahead, and your camp will wind down at 8pm when the night shift begins. It’s a long day but a fun one - you’ll need plenty of enthusiasm, energy and passion, ensuring your tribe leaves camp with positive memories that will last them a lifetime.

You’ll be able to camp on Staff Camp and enjoy the great outdoors for yourself whilst building friendships that last a lifetime with your colleagues. With regular ‘Feel Good Fridays,’ staff parties and more, you really do become part of The Bushcraft Company Tribe.

We’re offering:

• Up to £125.62 per day (before holiday pay, up to £140.79 inclusive of holiday pay) - with no deductions for accommodation, food or uniform!
