T Buttling Butchers is a small, family run butchers in Ludwell, just outside of Shaftesbury. Our goal is to provide a range of high-quality, locally sourced products to our customers, as well an outstanding level of customer service which has been a key part of our business for the last 45 years.

We are seeking a versatile, enthusiastic and energetic part-time assistant who is at ease in a customer-facing role and able to adapt quickly to a variety of tasks.

We are looking for applicants who are:

• Enthusiastic about high-quality local food! You will be working to prepare a range of meat and dairy products for sale in our shop.
• Friendly and outgoing! One key responsibility will be serving and advising our customers in the shop. Good communication skills and a friendly attitude are key!
• Creative! We are always looking to develop new products. The ideal candidate will have a background in cooking and food preparation and the creativity to use our ingredients to create new and exciting seasonal products.
• Professional! Our reputation in the local area means everything to us and has always been a key part of our success. You will be representing us in the shop, as well as when out and about delivering products to a network of local village shops.
• Proactive & flexible team players! The small nature of our business means that applicants will be expected to adapt quickly to a variety of tasks. We have a supportive team and training will be provided but a can do attitude and a willingness to learn is essential!

As the role involves deliveries, we ask that applicants have a full UK driving licence.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 22 per week

Salary: From £10.50 per hour
