Role Overview & Responsibilities
Contract Business Analyst required. Synapri are supporting a leading UK Property Investment business looking to hire an experienced contract software focused Business Analyst with a background of working on E2E software implementation programmes. The successful BA hired will work within a small development team who will be responsible for working with business stakeholders in identifying business requirements for a new system development/transformation project.
Our client are looking for someone with a technical background and a hands on approach. They need someone who understands SQL, data, has a background of working closely with software development teams implementing software platforms.
Working as the bridge between project management, business users and the development team the BA will be responsible for requirements gathering, backlog development and refinement and the User Acceptance Testing along with the business sign off and user documentation. You will be working with the wider project team to ensure deliverables are completed in line with the agreed timescales.
You should have previous experience of working within an agile development team, preferably Agile DSDM. The application will be developed as a bespoke application, hosted within Azure so any experience of Azure DevOps for task management is a huge plus.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years’ experience in a Business Analyst role with a proven track record of success in delivering systems implementation and process change projects
- Successful software / data project delivery
- Extensive background of working on E2E programmes delivering software products/services
- An understanding of SQL
- Experience working with software development teams, bespoke applications and enterprise systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for gathering requirements from stakeholders and business users.
- The ability to write comprehensive user stories to be able to deliver high-quality software with minimal guidance.
- Manage multiple development workstreams/projects.
The position is scoped outside IR35, 6 months with a view of extension. The client would prefer candidates who can spend 1 day per week onsite in Central London (City).
