We now have an exciting opportunity for a Food and Beverage Assistant to join our Food and Beverage Department.

As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will be required to master the art of versatility and inject some energy whilst completing a variety of duties.

This is a casual contract with a variety of shift patterns available, breakfast shifts begin at 6am and evening shifts can finish as late at 3am - Please bare this in mind when applying, we are flexible if you are.

The main duties expected within the role are:

  • To be welcoming and approachable to all guests visiting the restaurant, ensuring that Park Regis etiquette standards are used when greeting and seating guests.
  • To clear tables within the allocated time given causing minimal disruptions to present guests using the restaurant facilities.
  • To be knowledgeable of chef specials and a brief understanding of all dishes on the menu in order to provide recommendations and ingredients advice.
  • Look after all equipment & facilities.
  • To be responsible when taking payments and ensure attention to detial.
  • To participate in any training courses as required. Mandatory company courses must be attended.
  • To show genuine care and consideration when managing a guest complaint. You must take ownership of each complaint you receive, regardless of who the complaint was triggered by.
  • To be flexible with working hours to meet the demands of the business.
  • To create and maintain good working relationships with colleagues in the Food and Beverage team and other departments throughout the hotel.
  • To be flexible on shift and have a varied availability.
