LGV Driver - Monday to Friday

Suttons Tankers are an innovative national tanker haulage business, that operates a nationwide road tanker fleet which has been successfully serving the chemicals, gas, fuels, waste, and powders sectors for over 60 years, and is the largest chemical transporter in the UK.

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced LGV Driver (Class 1 ADR) to join our team based at our Newport depot, working Monday-Friday, start time at 01:00am. This is a permanent position.

Pay Rates:

• £195 average pay per shift Monday-Friday
• £13.43 per hour
• Overtime hours at £20.14 after 8 hours per shift Mon to Friday
• £37.75 per night out when tramping
• £20.14 per hour for the first 5 hours on a Saturday then any additional hours at £25 per hour
• £26.86 per hour paid for Sunday shifts
• £26.86 per hour paid Bank Holidays plus Standard Bank holiday pay
• £1.68 night shift rate
• £37.75 Night out allowance

FULLY PAID BREAKS and paid ADR & CPC Refreshers

Essential Requirements:

• An LGV Class 1 licence with no more than six points
• A tachograph card
• A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
• A valid ADR licence all classes other than 1 & 7
• A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation
• A safety focus
• Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience
• Minimum 2 years Tanker Experience

In addition, overtime is available, CPC training hours, courses and CPC accreditation and driver medicals are all paid for. Full PPE is provided.
