Hours: Full Time – 40 hours (Weekend work is essential)

As a Trainee Optical Laboratory Technician in our store, you’ll be preparing customer prescriptions to the highest standards and using the latest computer-controlled equipment. The important thing is that you’ll be learning all the time – building on your knowledge with the help of your expert colleagues. You’ll be trained in the following:
- Accurately reading lens and frame specifications from prescriptions that are received
- Setting and glazing lenses into frames ensuring attention to detail at all times
- Complete necessary minor repairs and adjustments
- Working towards agreed timeframes to meet customer expectations
