Role Overview & Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Psychologist to join a well-established and highly valued Specialist Pain Management Service (SPMS). The team comprises a Senior Counselling Psychologist, Psychological Practitioner, Specialist Nurse and Specialist Physiotherapist. The service forms part of an established Clinical Health Psychology Service at STSFT.
The SPMS provides assessment and specialist interventions for adults with persistent pain. The service offers a range of behavioural and psychological interventions and aims to support people to develop self-management strategies to minimise the impact of persistent pain and improve quality of life.
As an Assistant Psychologist you will support the wider team with assessments, delivery of interventions, audits and service development.
