Role Overview & Responsibilities
South Tees NHS Hospitals Foundation Trust is currently seeking a Clinical Coder (post to be based at Friarage site , however must be able to work at James Cook site when required).
The Trust's Clinical Coding Department is responsible for the translation of medical terminology and clinical data, as written by the Clinicians, to describe the patient's diagnoses, treatment or reason for seeking medical attention into a coded format which is nationally and internationally recognised.
