Seasonal Kitchen Porter (accommodation available)

Sands Resort Hotel is recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to join their friendly Kitchen Team. You will be required to work approximately 40 - 45 hours per week. Shifts are 8 am – midday and 6 pm – 10 pm.

Key responsibilities :

• Ensuring high standards of cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen.
• Helping with food preparation.
• Washing the canopy and filters above the kitchen; scrubbing the fryer, burners.
• Operating the kitchen dishwasher.
• Sweeping/Mopping.
• Waste Disposal.
• Assist with basic prep & storage of deliveries.
• Ensuring storage areas are kept clean and tidy.

The ideal candidate:

• Minimum of 1 year experience, although training will be provided.
• High standard of cleaning.
• Well-organised.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work alone as well as within a team.
• Available to work weekends.
