We invite applications for a full time, fixed term 12 month maternity cover for a staff clinician in Veterinary Oncology in the Department of Clinical Science and Services. You will join a forward-looking veterinary school as well as a state-of-the-art, vibrant, innovative, world-leading small animal referral hospital, which prides itself on good working relationships and atmosphere. Our campus is just a 15 minutes’ train ride from London, the beating cosmopolitan heart of the United Kingdom. You will be expected to enhance the department’s reputation through scholarship in the areas of teaching, clinical activity and research. You will achieve this by delivering didactic and clinical training on veterinary undergraduate curricula, participating in postgraduate training programmes and providing professional services within the College’s hospitals as well as participating in innovative, collaborative research programmes.

We are looking for team players with excellent communication skills and who are enthusiastic about working with students, including supporting undergraduate and postgraduate research projects. We invite applications from candidates with a RCVS registrable degree, who hold an ACVIM or ECVIM Oncology Diploma. A background in research work in one of the College’s areas of special interest or hold a PhD, although desirable, are not essential.
