Phlebotomist
Role Overview & Responsibilities
12 month fixed term to cover maternity.
As a phlebotomist in the outpatient department you will be solely responsible for completing blood tests as requested by the clinicians in the department.
You will assist with the training of junior members of staff and work closely with the ward phlebotomy team for training needs and updates. You will also work closely with the nurses and clinic support workers in Outpatients and assist them with the pre-assessment of patients.
We are looking for a confident candidate with excellent phlebotomy skills and excellent communication skills.
There is a designated phlebotomy room which you will be based in.
You will be required to cover the phlebotomy opening hours, which are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.
