Scheduler

We are on the look out for a Scheduler to join our ever growing, award winning, fleet management team.

This role will be to manage and lead a team of technicians so as to provide an efficient, quality and cost-effective service and ensuring that relevant KPI’s and financial performance and control measures are achieved in line with agreed budgetary and performance levels.

Role & Responsibilities

• Plan work to ensure engineers are productive to reduce downtime and control fuel usage.
• Record all jobs on the engineer’s planner and internal systems
• Ensure job cards are produced for invoicing
• Chase and confirm vehicle service bookings in line with the schedule and SLAs
• Provide high level updates to customers
• Deal with any escalations
• Ensure all KPI’s are delivered including ETA, parts spend, re-attendance for jobs, Service logs
• Ensure our performance targets are met at all times and exclusions are submitted monthly
• Ensure timesheets are completed and submitted for all engineers
• Ensure all daily checks to vans and equipment are carried out
• Manage the holiday planner in line with seasonal requirements
• Will be required to take escalation calls outside of normal working hours in the Service Manager’s absence
• Complete return to works for all engineers and offices team members is Service Manager’s absence.
• Support with health and safety, for example; site audits, near miss reporting, distribution of toolbox talks and general housekeeping

Skills & Experience

• Professional and excellent communicator
• Workshop/refrigeration experience is desired but not essential
• Administration experience including all Microsoft suites
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and be proactive, adapting to short notice requirements
• Strong organisational skills
• Experienced in team management for daily and route planning
• Good knowledge of transport industry
• Driving Licence

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £28,000.00 per year
