Research Associate I/II
Role Overview & Responsibilities
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform routine molecular biology techniques including DNA isolation, PCR, DNA assembly, transformation, plasmid preparation, WB, SDS-Page, etc.
- Perform routine cellular biology techniques including various cancer cell lines culture, plasmid transfection, stable cell line generation/identification.
- Manage inventory of required materials.
- QC materials required for daily operations.
- Maintain timely documentation of laboratory work.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- BS or MS in molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology, cell biology or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a molecular and cellular biology laboratory
- Mastery of cell culture/aseptic techniques is desirable.
- Experience with and deep understanding of antibody production is highly desirable.
Job Types: Full-time, Internship
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
