Role Overview & Responsibilities
WELDER - 1.5X OVERTIME AVAILABLE - NEAR HALSTEAD
An engineering firm who produce parts for the automotive industry are looking for a welder to join their team. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is looking to develop their welding skills and join a great team, with overtime available!
The company offers a starting salary circa £13.50ph and they are keen to see candidates at a variety of levels. The hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 07:30-16:30 and overtime is paid at 1.5x rate.
The company are open to looking at candidates with a range of experience, so if you've studied welding or have worked as a junior or apprentice and are looking for the next step in your career then please get in touch!
Welding duties will include:
- MIG welding mild & stainless steel
- Reading & working from engineering drawings
- Using hand & power tools
- Operating fabrication machinery
- Sticking to the companies health & safety policies
This role will allow you to develop your MIG welding and fabrication skills, with great benefits such as company raffles, 1.5x overtime rates and rota'd early finishes!
This is a permanent full-time role subject to a successful 3-month probation period.
