Phlebotomist
Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are looking for a Phlebotomist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner, preparing samples for testing, and accurately recording patient information. This position requires excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical setting and a strong knowledge of medical terminology.
Responsibilities:
- Draw blood from patients in a safe and efficient manner.
- Label and store samples correctly.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information.
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
- Provide patients with instructions on how to prepare for the procedure.
- Provide patients with information about the procedure and answer any questions they may have.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 5-10 per week
Salary: From £11.50 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

- Southampton: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
