Radiographer

Applications are welcomed from qualified radiographers and those expecting to qualify in the summer of 2023 who wish to join the Radiology team at the Mid Yorkshire Hospitals.

Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust have two PFI hospitals in Wakefield and Pontefract which opened in 2011. Alongside the excellent modern hospital in Dewsbury, these fantastic new buildings have transformed local patient care and improved service delivery. The Radiology department has established and is continuing to implement the new roles needed to deliver the radiology services of the future. The successful applicant will have high professional standards and enjoy the challenges of working in busy, forward thinking departments and will be required to work within any of the general radiography departments within the Trust. There is a wide range of general radiographic experience available including fluoroscopy, emergency department and theatres. Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills are required with the ability to lead, influence and communicate effectively with all members of the team. The successful candidate will be required to take part in all aspects of the out of hours rota across the Trust.
