Role Overview & Responsibilities
Warehouse/Goods Out Operative
Menzies Distribution are looking for a Warehouse/Goods Out Operative to join our team, providing a first class service with our team in Coventry working on behalf of Menzies Distribution Limited and its customers.
The Details:
- £11.64 Per Hour
- Sunday to Thursday Role
- 40 Hours Per Week - 14:00 to 23:00
- Monthly Pay
- Parking Onsite
- A valid RTITB or ITTSAR MHE licence is desirable
Warehouse/Goods out Operative Duties
- Loading and unloading palletised goods
- Moving palletised goods between areas of the warehouse
- Utilising equipment including hand pallet truck, counterbalance forklift and Powered pump trucks
- Ability to plan and prioritise
- Work under own initiative
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Attention to detail
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience within a Distribution or Logistics position
- Prioritise and managing tasks in a pressurised environment
- Experience of delivering expanding operational KPI’s.
- A practical approach to prioritisation of daily tasks and keeping a cool head under pressure
- Computer literate and able to switch from computer to computer
- Great communication skills
