Shop Assistant/Barista

Malcolm Barnecutt Bakeries employ over 200 employees in locations across Cornwall and Devon and are accredited with being one of the top 150 employers in Cornwall.

We are now recruiting for a Shop Assistant to join the team in Newquay.
This is a permanent position working full time (40 hours) across 5 days.

Daily duties will include the following:

• Serving customers in polite and professional manner
• Barista skills - training will be provided
• Organising food displays ready for sale
• Compliance with food hygiene and quality standards at all times
• Keeping customer dining areas clean
• Other duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the shop

As a person you will require the following qualities:

• Excellent communication skills
• Be reliable and punctual
• Be flexible with shifts to help provide cover during holidays and sickness
• Ability to work well in a team
• Enthusiastic and hardworking
