Finance Manager
Role Overview & Responsibilities
MacKenzie King are recruiting a Finance Manager for a well-established manufacturing company that dates back over 200 years, based in Bury St Edmunds. As the Finance Manager you will support the growing business by managing their accounting requirements, from transactional processes through to producing month end management packs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping duties - including checking receipts, credit card reconciliations, and bank reconciliations
- Performing credit checks for new customers
- Credit Control, supported by an assistant
- Sales invoicing
- Preparing payment runs
- Monitoring supplier accounts
- Preparation of month end accounts to discuss with senior management
- Managing the year-end accounts and liaising with external auditors
Key Skills & Attributes:
- AAT Qualified would be advantageous but not essential
- Experience working for a manufacturing business
- Strong IT skills to include accountancy software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills
- Team player mentality
- Can do attitude
