Role Overview & Responsibilities
M Leggate and Sons (Produce) Ltd are a family company based in Wrangle just outside Boston. We grow, process and transport our fresh vegetables around the country.
We are looking for a hygiene operative to join our small team of 3-5 people. The role will involve cleaning the equipment and factory to ensure food safety is maintained.
Working within the Hygiene team of a factory you will be involved in the cleaning and sanitising of equipment and factory operational areas each evening. The Hygiene teams ensure that areas are ready for production each morning.
Requirements for the Role
- Physical lifting and movement of equipment components
- Able to disassemble and assemble equipment components
- Using chemicals to clean equipment
- Recording jobs done on work sheets
- Able to read and understand procedural instructions
- Able to work within a team and also independently
- Able to recognise cleanliness
- Scrubbing equipment
- Wearing correct PPE
- Working in a safe and responsible way, following instructions
- One day at weekend each week.
