Morrison Water Services are currently looking to recruit a Support/Traffic Management Operative to work on our Yorkshire Water contract.

As a Support/Traffic Management Operative you will be part of our Traffic Management team who are responsible for installing and removing all types of traffic management and assisting with the clearance of sites for the Repair and Maintenance works.

As a Support/Traffic Management Operative your duties and responsibilities will be:

• Setting out, maintaining and removal of road closures and diversions
• Take site set up and dismantle photographs
• Carry out and record daily vehicle checks
• Loading and unloading all aspects of traffic management onto vehicles and making sure all vehicles are sufficiently and safely secured
• Carry out and complete site specific risk assessments and amend when necessary
• Use a stop/go system of work
• Install, run up, set timings, maintain and dismantle temporary traffic light signals
• Maintenance of traffic management sites including battery exchanges

Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

• Minimum qualification - NRSWA unit 2 signing, lighting and guarding
• Have a full and thorough understanding of the Safety at Street Works and Road Works, A code of practice document
• Able to read, understand and following CAD drawings
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weathers and able to walk and stand on uneven ground
