Role Overview & Responsibilities
Are you a CNC Turner looking to join one of the largest precision engineering companies in the UK that excel in the manufacture of high-quality machined components? If so, this role offers:
What you’ll do:
- Great Monday to Friday working hours with an early finish on Friday
- Overtime paid at time and a half
- Flexible start and finish times
- A vending machine that stocks wrights pies!
What you’ll do:
- Operating and setting a Mazak CNC Lathe
- Use precision measuring equipment
- Achieve daily targets
- Work within tight tolerance settings
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable - training will be given.
- Experience in live tooling and sub-spindling is an advantage
- Be able to read and interpret technical drawings
- The desire to learn new machinery
- From £13.50 to £16 per hour (DOE)
- Monday to Thursday 07:30 – 16:00, Friday 15:00 finish.
- 25 days holidays plus bank holidays
- Overtime paid for the 1st 2 hours a day at time and a third and time and a half thereafter
- Life assurance after 12 months of service
