Role Overview & Responsibilities
Air Traffic Control Services Ltd is seeking to recruit an Air Traffic Control Officer (ATCO) to join the existing team at Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA).
Working shifts on a 24-hour basis, you will ensure the safe, orderly, and expeditious flow of air traffic within your area of responsibility. The role will include opportunities to provide ADI and APS for LJLA.
To be eligible to apply for the position, you will hold a UK CAA recognised and previously validated licence in Approach Control Surveillance and Aerodrome Control Instrument. A European class 3 medical certificate is also essential. Awareness of management system processes such as Safety, Training/Competence, Compliance, Quality, and Security is desirable, as is an OJTI and Assessor endorsement. You should understand the importance of safety, demonstrate the highest operational standards, and levels of service provision, as well as being IT literate and team orientated.
Salary is up to £83,901.88 dependant on experience and additional OJTI, Assessor, and ABES responsibility payments are available where applicable.
