Role Overview & Responsibilities
Facilities Transport Services are looking to recruit full time Heavy Goods Driver Transport drivers to help deliver a friendly, prompt and professional service on behalf of Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Principal duties may involve the transportation of waste, staff, goods and other various tasks around Trust sites and nationally. Applicants must have good communication skills, a good geographical knowledge of Leeds and Nationwide and must be able to work effectively in a service focused environment. There is also a significant manual handling element and collection of bulk items attached to this post, plus other associated tasks, but training will be provided for these. Please be aware the post will require the applicant to work 37.50hrs a week, days, rotational shift patterns, which can include weekends and bank holidays, in a dynamic and fast moving environment so a flexible working attitude is essential to the role.
