Role Overview & Responsibilities
Scope of Role
The successful candidate will be part of a small in-house Design Team, working within a large international Marketing team. Reporting to the Design & Brand Manager, you will be responsible for producing visually appealing and effective designs that communicate our brand message and resonate with our target audience. You will have a passion for video production and digital tools and will be responsible for creating innovative designs for a wide range of multimedia platforms, digital and print outcomes; including websites, social media, advertisements, presentations, exhibitions, and other marketing materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop design concepts and creative solutions for various projects, including but not limited to print materials, digital assets, packaging, and signage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce effective and engaging multimedia content.
- Maintain brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all marketing materials and platforms.
- Manage multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
- Create high-quality video and animations to support marketing initiatives.
- Design and create various types of visual content such as logos, advertisements, brochures, social media graphics, presentations, and web layouts.
- Design and develop multimedia projects for various marketing initiatives, including website updates, social media graphics, video content, and advertisements.
- Utilize digital tools to create interactive and engaging multimedia experiences.
- Stay up-to-date with current design trends and technologies to continuously improve and evolve multimedia offerings.
Qualifications/Skills/Attributes
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher-level qualification in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or a related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (eg, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and particularly Video Production (After Effects, Premiere Pro) and willingness to further develop
- A strong portfolio demonstrating skills and creativity in video production, and graphic design
- Strong understanding of design principles, colour theory, and typography
- A team player with excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft programmes (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Desirable:
- 2-3 years of employment experience in graphic design, this could be in a business/ marketing or agency setting
- Experience in 3D rendering (KeyShot or similar)
- Photography/ videography skills
