Children's Play & Party Host

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly outgoing, energetic and responsible individual to join our team as a Children's Party Host/Activity Coordinator at our Soft Play Centres. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, be creative and imaginative, and have experience in creating special moments for birthday parties. In addition, the candidate will also be responsible for hosting various activities and classes for children of different ages. The role requires someone who is naturally outgoing, energetic and has the ability to bring excitement and energy to every interaction with children and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute birthday parties that are tailored to each child's specific interests and age group
• Host and lead various activities and classes, such as arts and crafts, storytelling, and games
• Supervise and engage with children during the sessions to ensure their safety and enjoyment
• Maintain a clean and organised play area and equipment
• Assist with setup and cleanup of birthday parties and activities
• Interact with parents and guardians in a professional and friendly manner to address any questions or concerns
• Ensure all activities are in compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Experience working with children of different ages
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Passion for creating special moments for children
• Naturally outgoing, energetic and able to bring excitement and energy to every interaction with children and their families
• First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)
• Availability to work weekends and holidays

Desirable experience:

• Nursery and/or early childhood supervisory roles
• Childrens entertainers or party hosts
• Children's sports coach or instructor
• After-school program coordinator or leader

Salary: £9.50-£13.00 per hour
