Retail Sales Associate

Kat's Corner Shop is looking for friendly and enthusiastic Retail Assistants to join our bank staff.

Kat’s Corner Shop operates 7 days a week between 5.30am and 10pm and Copy Kat’s when it reopens will operate between 10am and 10pm giving plenty flexibility to work a variety of hours and days to suit your schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

* Greeting customers as they enter the shop and assisting them in finding the products they need.

* Operating the till and handling cash.

* Receive deliveries, replenish stock and ensuring that products are properly displayed, labeled, priced and in date.

* Keeping the store clean and tidy.

* Following all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

* Prior experience in a retail or customer service role preferred.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Confident and accurate at counting.

* Ability to work well as part of a team or unattended.

* Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

* The ability to use your initiative.

As staff on bank, there is no obligation on our part to provide regular work, nor is there an obligation for you to accept any shift if it is offered, but we can facilitate up to full time hours.

Rate of pay is set by the National Minimum wage dependent on age. Payment is weekly.
