Housekeeper/Room Attendant

Please read the full requirements of this role before applying. Specifically please note that you will require your own transport as a vehicle is essential to reach us, there is NO public transport. You must also have previous experience in cleaning rooms (housekeeping).

We are seeking a friendly, hard working individual that has an eye for detail to join us at our 5 bedroom Bed and Breakfast, on a flexible part time basis. (Zero Hour Contract).

Hours: Hours per week will vary depending on the number of booked rooms, typically we are looking for between 5 and 12 hours per week (most Sundays and one or two other days through the week). Available summer hours will generally be more than winter periods. Flexibility it advantageous.

About the role.

​Your primary role includes the following housekeeping tasks.

• Strip and make beds with new bed linen and towels.
• Vacuum carpets, clean upholstery and clean bathrooms.
• Ensure our rooms are immaculate ready for the next guest.
• Clean and prepare our breakfast dining room.
• Cleaning of communal areas.

​About you

• You will have previous housekeeping experience.
• You may interact with guests, so you must have a friendly personality and be fluent in English.
• You must hold a legal right to work in the UK.
• You will live locally (ideally within 20 minutes drive).
• You will require your own transport as a vehicle is essential to reach us.
• We have a pet dog and cats that live on site, so we would prefer someone who has no allergies to cats/dogs and is comfortable working around our pets.

​You'll join a small, successful business, operated by business owners Nick and Tim.

Contract length: 999 months

Salary: £10.50 per hour
