About Us:
#BeeWell is a youth-centred programme that listens to young people on issues that they recognise as important through an annual wellbeing census. It inspires a coalition from across civil society to deliver positive action as a result.
The #BeeWell vision is to:
- Listen to young people’s voices
- Act together for change
- Celebrate young people’s wellbeing
Founded in Greater Manchester, the programme has to date heard the voices of over 60,000 young people between Year 8 and Year 10, the largest exercise of its kind in the country.
We are now building on this success to tailor and roll out the survey and programme to young people in secondary schools across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight and have an exciting opportunity to appoint a Programme Manager who will be pivotal in its successful delivery and in improving outcomes for young people in the region.
The Role:
We are looking to recruit a confident, capable, collaborative and enthusiastic leader, to deliver the #BeeWell Programme in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight (HIOW).
You will be experienced in leading and delivering complex programmes involving multiple stakeholders and partners and have robust planning skills. You will be an artful communicator and very credible, adept at influencing and building relationships with people at all levels.
You should have a demonstrable interest in, and enthusiasm for, improving the wellbeing and outcomes of children and young people.
The role will report into the Head of Strategic Partnerships for Children’s Services at Hampshire County Council, also working directly to the Assistant Director for Business Development and Transformation in Children’s Services. It will be accountable to the HIOW #BeeWell Steering Group, which comprises Directors and Assistant Directors from Local Authorities and Health Authorities across the region.
