Role Overview & Responsibilities
The post holder will be a proactive and enthusiastic communications professional looking for a fulfilling role at the heart of a busy NHS trust.
As a communications and engagement assistant, you’ll play an active role in the communications team, supporting trust-wide internal and external communications with a varied portfolio including design work and content-creation, campaigns, projects, and events.
You will help to deliver engaging and concise internal and external communications to a range of audiences and assist in building vital relationships - whether that’s with members of Team HHFT, key stakeholders in health and social care, or the media.
Through this role you’ll make a real difference and help to raise the profile of HHFT, enhancing the reputation and strengthening confidence in the trust. In return, you’ll have the opportunity to gain new skills and experiences and enhancing those you are bringing to the role.
Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT) provides hospital services to around 600,000 people living in Hampshire and parts of West Berkshire, and specialist services to patients from all over the country. We deliver a full range of district hospital services in a variety of locations.
