Role Overview & Responsibilities
Gloucestershire Oncology Centre has a progressive Radiotherapy department across two sites with state of the art machines delivering IMRT, Arcing and SABR techniques with adaptive therapy. We have a superficial unit and also deliver Brachytherapy.
This post is a full time, Band 6 Advanced practitioner in Radiotherapy, based at the Hereford Satellite Centre.
The department is involved in numerous National research Trials and has research Radiographers. We also have Consultant Radiographers in both Breast and Prostate Cancer.
The department prides itself in a very high standard of patient care and also delivers a Late Effects Service to extend this care beyond initial treatment.
We are keen to develop our staff based on competency and encourage further education and we welcome well motivated, caring and conscientious individuals to our team.
