A very exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Stroud/South Hub Community Midwifery team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (GHNHSFT).
GHNHSF undertakes approximately 6,000 births a year providing a high level of maternity care for women, who require obstetric, neonatal or anaesthetic services.
Stroud Birth Unit is one of our MLUs which provide midwifery led care for approximately 300 women a year. Midwives working within our Trust have the opportunity to work in flexible & innovative ways in a variety of settings including the community, making full use of their skills to promote normality and woman centred care.
Our integrated midwifery-led care model is well developed with midwives working in the Community & the Birth Centres, promoting normality and providing choice and personalised care.
