Bricklayer / General Builder

Glebe Construction Building Contractors LTD require a full time, time served Bricklayer to join our growing team in this fully employed position.

Based in Rotherham we serve the South Yorkshire and surrounding areas. We are a general construction firm and carry out work to many property types including old and listed buildings, we construct high end home extensions and carry out refurbishment works to the domestic and residential sector.

A full clean driving license is essential for this role.

Experience in all aspect of bricklaying is essential, as is a sound understanding of the construction industry. You must be adaptable to many types of working environments, be able to read from plan, and be willing at times to assist other trades within the company.

We are looking for a permanent hire with paid holidays and workplace pension.

All work will be local in South Yorkshire and the surrounding areas

The role will include, but not limited:

• Brickwork
• Blockwork
• Stonework
• Heritage work
• Pointing
• Structural alterations
• Drainage
• Paving
• Concreting
• Assisting other trades on site as required

Working hours are as follows:

• Mon-Thurs: 8:00-16:30
• Fri: 8:00-15:30

Must provide own tools.
