Radiology Department Assistant

• PLEASE NOTE THIS POSITION IS AT ST. MARKS, MAIDENHEAD*

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary team and develop new skills in the world of Radiology. The successful candidate will involve working on atSt Marks.

You will support the work of the Radiology Department to assist Radiographers and Sonographers in Ultrasound , DEXA and General Radiography.

• To assist in all aspects of patient care with in the Radiology department.
• To assist with housekeeping duties i.e. cleaning specialist equipment.
• To input accurate patient data into EPIC, and CR system in a timely manner.
• To work at St Marks in Maidenhead.

• To maintain privacy and dignity of all patients in the department.
• To ensure patient care needs are recognised and addressed while in Radiology department e.g.: reassurance, toilet requirements
• To assists patients with undressing and preparation for Radiological examinations.
• To act as a chaperone for patients as required.
• To clean radiological equipment as per departmental procedures.
• To assist patients and staff with the specific tests and examinations carried out in the Radiology department.
