Maintenance Engineer

Hours: Monday – Friday / 40 Hours Per Week – Start / Finish Times Flexi

Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per year

Location: Worksop

Contract Type: Permanent

Due to continued growth and expansion we are currently looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join our business in Worksop on a permanent basis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Disassemble and assembly of medical equipment
• You will be providing reactive maintenance of production machinery
• Repair, replace or manufacture parts via milling, turning, grinding
• Monitor performance of machinery and equipment
• Manufacturing parts for new production machinery
• You will adjust and calibrate machinery as needed
• General bench fitting
• Assist with any other tasks as required within the business within your skills and experience
• Cleaning, polishing and servicing of mechanical tools and medical equipment
• Read engineering drawings, use of mechanical measurement equipment (Vernier, Gauges)
• To conduct maintenance repairs to building, internal fittings and systems. Duties including general DIY
• Clean and maintain all hand and power tools in line with Fire, Health & Safety legislation and Company policies and stored in line with company policy and current legislation
• To maintain a good level of personal presentation
• To actively follow company policies
• To observe the company’s Fire and Health & Safety Policies

Experience and Skills:

• Good team working skills
• Work on own initiative
• Polite, friendly nature
• Commitment and dedication to job duties/ company
• Excellent timekeeping and attendance.
• You will have experience of working in facility maintenance as a maintenance engineer.
• Desirable to have or working towards Chartered Institute Mechanical Engineering
