Office Assistant
Role Overview & Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
· Carrying out the day to day office duties, this includes being the first port of call for all office needs.
. Managing and updating all systems such as Xero.
.Completing all invoices purchase orders, receipts.
. Managing and scheduling all deliveries inbound and outbound.
· Opening Post, answering calls, helping customers.
. Support the Operations Manager with admin support.
We would ideally like someone who is self-motivated and enthusiastic. This role is varied and you will spend the majority of your time supporting the team with their needs and working alongside the director and Operations Manager.
The successful candidate should have:
· Strong IT skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
· Must demonstrate excellent communication skills, written and verbal to internal and external customers. Attention to detail is a must
· Keen to learn and grow.
· Good time management skills·
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week
Salary: £11.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Derby: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
Language:
- English (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
